How We Can Help
Programs & Services
Pregnancy Testing & Verification
Set up a time to get your free pregnancy test and talk with our nurse about your pregnancy options.
The PTRC does not provide nor refer for birth control or abortion.
Our nurse will discuss the possibility of scheduling an ultrasound for you following your pregnancy test visit. Medical services are offered under the supervision of a licensed physician and provided by licensed medical professionals.
Get the parenting skills and baby items that you need by completing classes to earn items for your little one before birth. This program is offered for both parents in an online/in-person hybrid format, as well as a one-day program.
Our one-day format is offered at different times throughout the year at different locations in Walker and Winston counties.
Our hybrid program is ongoing, and expecting parents can enroll anytime. We encourage expecting parents to enroll before their 35th week of pregnancy so that they have time to complete their classes before birth.
Clothes Closet & Referrals to Community Resources
Our clothes closet provides maternity clothing and items for children ages newborn-two years during emergency situations. Parenting education is offered during these visits. Items we can help with include diapers, formula, baby clothing, baby toiletries, etc.
Our center can also help connect you with other community resources that can help with things such as housing, food, adult clothing, job search, addiction resources & recovery, and more.
